Today marks day one of my new job at Tucows as their first-ever Technical Community Development Coordinator (a sixteen-syllable title, which I like shortening to TC/DC). I’ve been told that today will largely consists of “orientation”. I assume that by “orientation”, they mean that I’ll be getting a tour of the place, informed about the rules and regulations and assigned a computer and passcard. Of course, it could also mean refer to some elaborate combat ritual. (If it does happen, I hope CEO Elliot says that he’ll wager 400 quatloos on the newcomer.)
