Today is the day of the mayoral election here in Accordion City. If you’re eligible, make sure you vote today!
If you’re still undecided, one place online you might want to check out is Rick McGinnis’ excellent election blog, Last Chance City.
(If you really must know, David Miller’s getting my vote.)

Hey weren’t you a few days ago making fun of people that supported NDP oriented mayoral candidates? Just wondering, though you’re voting for the best man for the job.

The best part about voting when your polling station is at a retirement (near death experience) home and voting shortly after the poll opens is the assistance to the residents.
There was a deaf guy, with an assistant who came close to losing it: “NO, YOU DON’T MAKE AN “X”, YOU JUST FILL IN THE LINE! NO, DON’T MAKE AN “X”, YOU JUST HAVE TO FILL IN THE ARROW OF THE CANDIDATE YOU WANT TO VOTE FOR!”
And of course Grampa Simpson kept asking where he was to draw his “X”.
Hey, did anybody else get a free pack of crayons to fill out the back of their placemat sized ballot? Or did I vote at a fast food joint?
