It’s an interesting presentation on the “why” of the Ruby programming language. Whether you’re a programmer or someone interested in how language influences thought (or get turned on by the phrase “Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis”, and hey, who isn’t?), it’s a great read.

I was just reading about this very topic last weekend.
I was fascinated but was greeted with yawns and desperate intended-to-be-covert glances for somewhere else to go anytime I tried to share.
I think I'm hanging with the wrong crowd.
Very interesting, especially for me at present, as I'm just starting to learn assembly for the first time.
