L:ast year, I was nominated for the 2004 Bloggies. I lost to the 800-pound gorilla of the blogosphere, BoingBoing, but the getting nominated for “Blog of the Year” (presumably for the “New Girl” story) instead of “Best Canadian Blog” was a big honour.

No offense, Joey, but I don't think you're old enough to get an award for lifetime achievement.
Ah, but we're talking in terms of blogs. A blog that's been around since 2001 qualifies for the Lifetime Achievement award. This one's been around since November 10, 2001, so it qualifies.
If it helps, I nominated this blog for Lifetime Achievement....at least, I think I did.
