"pmail", as Steven Colbert of The Daily Show called it in one of his "This Week in God" pieces.
I've been using the term "pmail" for years. When I take my dog out for a walk, she insists on stopping at this one rock where every single dog in the neighbourhood pisses to get a good, long sniff session in.
I say that she's checking her pmail.

P.S. Not a real believer in that whole prayer thing. There's plenty of UDP communication which is bidirectional and not broadcast based.
