Remembrance Day / Veterans’ Day

In Canada, November 11th is Remembrance Day; in the U.S., it’s Veterans Day. The Canadian tradition on this day is to read the poem In Flanders Fields, which is shown below as written by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae in 1915:
