Here’s a quick description of MizPee, taken straight from their own site:
Do you ever find yourself desperately looking for a clean toilet in the city?
MizPee finds the closest, cleanest toilets in your area. You can add and review toilets, get some cool deals in your area and challenge your knowledge of toilet trivia.
(It has been a while since my knowledge of toilet trivia has been challenged…)
Here’s a sample of MizPee’s results when I asked for toilets near TSOT, where I work — 151 Bloor Street West:
Someone out there needs to rate the women’s washrooms at the nearby Four Seasons Hotel. It seems closer than the Second Cup, and I’m sure its washrooms are pretty good.

Thanks Joey!
Yeah - I think their database for T.O. is in the early stages at the moment.
Of course, that's the thing with a system driven by user-ratings: the more info people add, the better the system becomes.
'sfunny: this seems like such a goofy idea on the face of it, but everyone I've explained it to has had the same kind of response - it's practically an essential service :-)
This is brilliant. They should do Beijing eventually. People would love it, especially the expats.
The washrooms at the Four Seasons are very nice! But they are not in the ground floor of the lobby but up an escalator towards the east side of the lobby. The escalator takes you to one of their restaurants (I think).
Using hotel washrooms is a custom in my family when we are out and about because they are always the cleanest and way less monitored than a pub or coffee shop. The Hyatt Park Plaza must be close to you as well but I'm not sure where their washrooms are.

Great idea for people on the go looking to go!
I've been to all those washrooms, including the Hyatt. They're fine. They're also fine at Manulife Centre, downstairs.
While we're talking about public washrooms, how about the "Worst toilet in Scotland" scene from Trainspotting?
Someone needs to invent a site like that for taxis. I've been in a few cabs that were nastier than the worst toilet in Scotland.
In my experience those nasty cabs tend to be CO-OP cabs, so I just avoid them and flag down anyone but them. Of course it seems half the cabs in the city are CO-OP and, on occasion when I relented, I lucked out with a fast, clean ride and a friendly driver. In the end, its always a crap shoot.
By the way, I think the MizPee logo is terrific
Funny, I started doing "bathroom reviews" on my blog when I was pregnant (and always in need of a place to pee) in 2004. I offered directions to the actual bathroom, since they're sometimes hidden, especially in department stores. Nice to see that someone's finally set up a site to do reviews in a more organized manner!
Interesting but you have to remember this...it only works if you can get internet access on your phone, PDA or laptop either through cellular or WiFi. But seriously, sometimes when you have to go, you really can't wait to get your Internet connection (which may take up to 2 minutes) and then go to the MizPee web site and then search. The amount of time that it takes you to do that, it may just be too late...
Sometimes when nature calls, you can't wait for technology!
