  • Now please go back and ask them to provide a bit more information, viz:
    how they determined "mass shootings";
    number of injuries/ fatalities;
    by geography, if possible (rural/ urban);
    by time (to show any trend).

  • I'm less worried about "mass shootings" and more worried about, you know, shootings. In general. I don't walk out the door and think "but what if I'm shot, and then there's a national news story about it and my killer becomes infamous?".
