My friend “Skrud” came up with this meme after encountering someone who lives in Ottawa because of the nightlife. That’s like living in Winnipeg for the tropical weather (or its nightlife, for that matter).

Nightlife... and Ottawa, in the same sentence? Maybe they sampled all the weed the government is smoking and that's what they mean by party.
I was really surprised to see how quiet Ottawa downtown gets at night when I visited for the first time in a while last summer.
Well there's your problem. We hide the nightlife in the Market, in Gatineau, out in Wakefield... basically everywhere except the downtown core :)
