“She Blinded Me With Science” Featuring Thomas Dolby and…Buzz Aldrin?

Here’s a treat for those of you who like science and synthpop: it’s Thomas Dolby performing She Blinded Me With Science, with the assistance of none other than Buzz Aldrin, second man to walk on the Moon. Buzz took Magnus Pyke’s role — he was a host of the 1970s British science TV series Don’t Ask Me and the guy in the single who yells out “Science!”. Buzz’s sense of rhythm and timing is terribly off, but he makes up for it by yelling “SCIENCE!” with gusto.

This performance took place at the recent The Future is Here conference put on by Smithsonian magazine.

And hey, let’s be thorough and watch the original!
