Fell In Love with a Girl, French Accordion Style

Ten years ago around this time, The White Stripes’ Fell in Love with a Girl was an alt-rock hit. One night, while having a group of friends over for dinner, my friend Meryle asked if I could play it on accordion. Not only did I know how, but I decided to give it a little Maurice Chevalier twist and perform it as if it were a modern-day version of his disturbing ditty Thank Heaven for Little Girls. My fake French accent is terrible; I sound like a cross between a drunk Pepe Le Pew and the guy outside Club Super Sexe on Ste-Catherine, but I rather enjoy my rendition of the song.
