The great declutter sale, part 2: 16GB Zune HD for $30, 32GB Zune HD for $40 – the hippest media players ever!

The great decluttering continues. I’m getting rid of stuff that I no longer use, but perhaps might be of use for you, and ask only for some money to help me — financially, it’s been a terrible year (long story, which I’ll blog later). It’s your cash, my stuff, everybody wins!

In this installment of The Great Declutter Sale, I’ve got a couple of rare items that are so terribly, terribly uncool and unloved that they will cement your hipster status forever. You will be able to walk through the most painfully hip neighbourhoods — Parkdale in Toronto, “Billyburg” in New York, the Pearl District in Portland — and they will fall down and worship you like a god.

I have not one, but two Zune HDs for sale. One 16GB model, one 32GB model.

With just one of these, The Arcade Fire will call you up and beg you to come to one of their shows. With the both of these, you’ll be able to specify a dress code for them. That’s how powerfully hip these things will make you.

These Zunes weren’t taken out much — I used them primarily for software development purposes. That’s right: you could program them to play games. As a result, they’re in great condition with no scratches on the glass and only the smallest of blemishes on their brushed metal bodies. Each comes with its own Zune HD USB cable, and you can still get the software to connect it to Windows from zune.net, and yes it even runs on Windows 8.

Storage	The 16GB one (the black one) has 16GB. It is left as an exercise for the reader to figure out how much storage the 32GB one (the silver one) has.
Wifi	Yup, this thing’s got wifi: 802.11b/g Wi-Fi with open, WEP, WPA, and WPA2 authentication modes and WEP 64-bit and 128-bit, TKIP, and AES encryption modes
Browser	Oh yeah, it’s got a browser all right! The ultra-hip Windows CE variant of what was once the de facto standard for browsing: Internet Explorer 6. Awww yisss.
Radio	Yup, it’s an FM/HD radio receiver too!
