How does it know?

This just popped up on my computer’s screen:

So it would seem that I’m supposed to have an epiphany tomorrow. That’s pretty cool, but the thing bugging me is: how does my computer know this?

  • I got this too. Any idea where it came from and why? I believe it is in the Google "Canadian Holidays" calendar.

  • Maybe it was January 5th? Epiphany is the 6th. At least you didn't get a note about the Circumcision on the 1st.

  • I'm gonna assume neither one of you is kidding and I'm not falling into the missed sarcasm trap...

The Feast of the Epiphany happens sometime in early January, on the Catholic ecclesiastical calendar. For my Catholic friends it has variously been significant as a) time to take down the Christmas tree or b) time to sober up from holiday season binge drinking and get back to business....
