  So true!

• Yeah. I really really love the G&M's "financial advice" column, about helping people who are living beyond their means... where their means are always a family income in the hundreds of thousands of dollars range. If they were actually interested in educating the public about how things are in this country, they'd run that column once, just once, for a family at the median income for Toronto... let alone the median income in the country.

  Of course, they're not going to do this because they'd be forced to say "well... when it comes to saving for your retirement, you're basically fucked, unless you're willing to forgo, you know... feeding yourselves and your children."
