The laws have changed

In light of a certain recent terrible judicial appointment, this Doonesbury comic from April seems more appropriate than ever.

If you think that Doonesbury cartoonist Garry Trudeau is stretching the truth a little, here’s a clip of Tony Perkins, President of the Family Research Council giving Trump a “mulligan” on his affair with Stormy Daniels…

…and of course they’re pleased to see Kavanaugh as a Supreme Court Justice. He is a means to an end.

A good number of Evangelicals know that Trump has faults, but see him as a tool provided by God. I think they’re half right:

A major reason why Evangelicals are acting increasingly like a political party and less like a group of people who follow the principles of Jesus is that they fear that America is becoming more like the one depicted in the Coke commercial from the 2017 Super Bowl (which made some people lose their minds):
