Guile’s Election Goodies

My co-worker Guile (who, like me, occupies Centerville on the political map) has the best line about the Liberal Party of Canada:

“I think the Liberals need to take a time out, stand in the corner and think about what they’ve done.”

He’s also come up with a great way for followers of the Canadian federal election to spend tonight: playing the Election Night Drinking Game.

Special advice to protest voters: If you must protest by spoiling your
ballot, do it by voting for Ross Rader as your write-in candidate. Look at that trustworthy face:

Vote for Boss Ross: whaddaya gonna do, vote for the Green Party?

Hehe, I did vote for him last week! At least the guys at CIRA are smart enough to let me vote without a Canadian citizenship! I am wondering if they had seen this picture before they put him on the panel! 🙂

If I didn’t get such nightmares thinking about the Conservatives, I might vote for them.
That, and the spam I keep getting saying to vote for them. That annoys me.

Actually, i did vote for the Green Party. i’m pretty sure Peggy Nash (NDP) will win in my riding. So long, Sam! Hello, NDP!
If the Conservatives win, i’m not sure what i’m going to do.

Did you really mention CIRA and smart in one sentence? Sounds like an oxymoron. I bet this is just something that their lawyers hadn’t thought of until today, when they read your post.
Had I been allowed to vote I would have voted green.

Thankfully, the Conservatives did not win. Alas, Peggy Nash didn’t win in my riding and Sam Bulte did – what the fuck, Parkdale?! However, the Green Party got some nice results.
