Accordion, Instrument of the Gods It Happened to Me

Encounter with a “One Laptop Per Child” Computer

I got my first real-life look at one of the One Laptop Per Child laptops at the CommandN party last Thursday. While noodling with it, I got the idea to get a picture of it beside my accordion to show just how compact it is:

It’s nice and portable. No wonder the “One Accordion Per Child” idea never got any traction.

Joey, never pinion your keyboard against the floor. always store in on the base (not bass) where the L wrist strap contacts the floor.

If you are putting the Accordion in a case, sweep it in keyboard first, very gently, then put the velvet over the keyboard and the straps on top. then pick up the whole case and store it as per above.

@terry You’re absolutely correct! I don’t store my accordion this way, but it was easier to get a side-by-side photo this way.

That’s a pool table on which the laptop and accordion are resting, so I expect to get a comment from a billiards aficionado that you shouldn’t put anything that isn’t a billiard ball or cue on them.
