I’ll let other people post videos featuring famous “talking heads” talking about what’s properly identified as the “Virginia Battle Flag” and popularly (but incorrectly) called “the Confederate flag” or the “Stars and Bars”. I’m going to post this piece made by one Ronnie C. Rouse that I stumbled into on Facebook. Yes, it’s as off-the-cuff and rough around the edges as every other YouTube rant, but but I like Ronnie C’s message and style, so I’m giving him some love by sharing his video:

I would hope that there are better clips on the internet than this one. It starts off with profanity and an insult. I would have been better off if I had never opened this post.

I read the article you linked to, Thane, and I’ve seen better paper after wiping my ass. There’s enough straw men in that guy’s thesis to build a scarecrow army.
Ronnie C’s video is in a casual style, and probably contains fewer swear words than a good number of conversations I’ve had at my company’s home office outside Boston (the Massholes love to swear). I don’t think it’s an issue, and I think it’s kind of odd, that you of all people — mister maximum freedom, minimum authority — are playing Russian judge and deducting style points. We’re gonna have to agree to disagree on this one.
